Choice Home Care offers companionship for those who would otherwise be alone. We strive to engage clients when appropriate with books, games, letter writing and simple conversation.

Our live-in service is for clients who need assistance around the clock. The caregiver assists with duties for 16 hours and is then allowed to sleep for eight.

A caregiver comes to the client’s home and provides a bath plus help with dressing and grooming. During a two-hour bath session, as time permits, the caregiver will change linens, straighten the sleeping area and start a load of laundry.

Choice caregivers are all certified by the Alzheimer’s Association Cares Program. In addition, they are experienced in dealing with dementia patients. Applied knowledge equals experience, and our goal is to bring peace of mind to family members who are impacted by this disease.

Choice Home Care caregivers can perform light housekeeping duties such as mopping the floors, vacuuming, cleaning the bathroom, changing sheets, doing laundry and taking out garbage.

If a home-cooked meal is important to you, Choice caregivers can cook, clean up and generally plan and assist with mealtime.

Choice caregivers can remind and assist with administering medication as prescribed by a doctor. Simply provide us with a written medication schedule.

We help clients maintain their normal routine as much as possible. Choice Home Care caregivers are all licensed, insured drivers who can accompany clients on doctor’s appointments, personal errands, and shopping trips.
